Travel management company Reed & Mackay is expanding its presence in the Nordics as Sweden-based agency Resia will join the group following a rebrand later this year.
London-based Reed & Mackay and Gothenburg-based Resia are both part of the Navan group, with the former acquired by the company (then known as TripActions) in 2021 and the latter in March 2022.
Following the rebrand, the TMC will launch a "premium service" in Sweden with a focus on larger multinational clients.
The move follows the recent acquisition of Spain-based Atlanta Events & Corporate Travel Consultants as the TMC looks to strengthen its European presence, which also includes offices in France, Germany and the Netherlands.
Reed & Mackay CEO, Julie Oliver, said: “Resia is a well-known brand in the Swedish market with a real passion for service. The expertise of their travel consultants and their focus on event management and congress as growing business lines makes Resia a natural fit for Reed & Mackay.”
