Car rental firm Avis Budget Group has continued expanding in the UK by adding a new location at Glasgow Central train station.
Avis, which already has two branches in Scotland’s largest city, said it had opened another outlet at the country’s busiest rail station to meet “growing customer demand”.
Customers picking up a vehicle at Glasgow Central will be able to use the Avis QuickPass digital service to save time by checking in online before they arrive at the counter.
Alan Olivier-Smith, general manager UK at Avis Budget Group, said: “As we continue to see growing customer demand in Scotland, we’re very pleased to launch a new location at one of its busiest transport hubs.”
Avis hopes to pick up business from the 15 million passengers who pass through Glasgow Central station annually.
